He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Nesbitt and John Nesbitt; his wife Joan Nesbitt; and his grandchild Giavanna "Gia" Nesbitt. He is survived by: his son John J. Nesbitt, Jr. (Victoria); and his grandchildren, Nina, Anthony, Lucia Nesbitt, Katelyn and Karley Inwood.
