He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Derin and Anna Derin; his wife Mary Derin; his children, Beth Barca (Jerry), Robert Derin (Emily), Michele Tamarian (Greg), John Derin and Peter Derin; and his siblings, Carole Little, Jacqueline Bagheri (Fred), Michael Derin (Linda) and Anna Marie Diana (Sal). He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren.
