He was predeceased by: his spouse Elizabeth. He is survived by: his children, Deborah L. Karlsson (Alfred Cirelli) of Hackensack and Donna L. Ahman of Alfred Horlitz, III; his sibling John "Jack" Jacobus; his siblings-in-law, Mary Jacobus, Joan Jacobus and Joyce Jacobus; and his grandchildren, Jennifer L. Tompkins (Michael) and Erika Karlsson-Hickmon (Lawrence James).
