Frederick O. Rethage Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick O. Rethage of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Frederick departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Frederick. Though Frederick may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Marie and Frederick F. Rethage; and his brother Robert James Rethage.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costa Memorial (170 Central Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi R. C. Church (260 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at the St. Francis de Sales RC Church Cemetery (125 Union St, Lodi, NJ 07644).
Memorial contributions to the Center for Food Action or to the Capital Improvement Fund at the Aviation Hall of Fame in Teterboro would be appreciated.
