He was predeceased by: his sister Jamie Masters; and his father James Chelius. He is survived by: his mother Nancy; and his pets, Hannah and Thatcher.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Daley Life Celebration Studio (1518 Kings Hwy, Swedesboro, NJ 08085).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Friends of Forsythe (friendsofforsythe.org) will be appreciated.

“I met Kyle over three years ago, when I went birding on a Friday morning at Forsythe. I was new to birding, so was a bit overwhelmed. If it hadn't been for Kyle's friendliness, openness, and welcoming personality, I don't think I'd be birding today. He had a wonderful sense of humor, he shared all kinds of information, and was -- week in and week out -- encouraging and supporting. Thanks to Kyle, the joy of birding is now part of my life. He was a special guy, and I'm grateful I met him.”

“I worked with Kyle at the Shipyard and at EPA. We knew each other from our early 20s. He was a good spirited and creative coworker and friend. He was the person you went to for suggestions on birding and all things of nature. We also discussed boyscout leadership and operations. It was always nice to visit his workspace as it was filled with all types of interesting objects and gadgets. He will be missed. May he rest in peace, David Iacono”
