He is survived by: his wife Maria Filomena; his children, Alexandra Nunes-Garcia and Joao Antonio Nunes; his siblings, Eduardo Nunes, Lidia Santos, Eduarda Nunes and Maria Vidreiro; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Tobias, Abigail, Natalie Garcia, Joseph and Alexander Nunes.
