He was predeceased by: his wife Emilia DaCosta (Carvalho); and his siblings, Alberto, Antonio DaCosta and Adozinda Duarte. He is survived by: his children, Jack DaCosta, Jr. (Veronica) and Adelina DaCosta; his sisters, Alice Ribeiro, Rosa Ribeiro and Josefina Nogueira; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jack DaCosta, III and Derek Cadete.
