“You were my Spanish Teacher at George Washington High School in 1961. And 50 years later I would find a phone number for you and call you up to reminisce about those earlier years. As usual you were erudite, friendly but we never got together for a meal somewhere in New York City? The other day someone told me you had passed away at 90 years of age. You are certainly missed by many of the high school grads you taught so well.”
