Martha Bland Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Bland (Harrington Park, New Jersey), who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Pat" Bland; her parents, James and Ellen; and her mother-in-law Mary Scarola. She is survived by: her sons, Patrick (Joanne), Michael and Shawn (Alexandra Bland); her daughters-in-law, Susan Maye, Patricia Bland and Karen Houghton; her grandchildren, Patrick, Brendan, Kieran, Deirdre Bland Michael (Heather Bland), Nicole (Travis Meli), Jennifer Bland, John Bland and Verity Griffin; and her great grandchildren, Michaela, Finleigh, Jax and Leighton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barrett Leber Funeral Home (148 Dean Dr, Tenafly, NJ 07670). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victories Harrington Park (150 Harriot Ave, Harrington Park, NJ 07641). A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 would be appreciated.
