She was predeceased by: her former husband Anton Kirschbaum; her husband Harold Mertens; her son Edward Kirschbaum; and her siblings, Arthur, Lester, Leonard, Harriet and Muriel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Raffo of Lavallette, NJ and Gladys DeFelice (Peter) of Whiting, NJ. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
