He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pitale and Artelia Pitale; his brother Anthony Pitale; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Lancetta, Sandy Giacobbe and Regina Pagano.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Pitale; and his siblings-in-law, Carmen Lancetta (Jean), Anthony Giacobbe, Rita Lancetta and Marion Pitale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
