She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Valerio Sr.; her mother Rose Gazzara; and her siblings, Charles Gazzara and Pauline Gazzara. She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" A. Valerio Jr. (Cindy), Terry Lynne Valerio and Toni Anne Valerio (Healy); her sisters, Roseanne Gibase (Don) and Patty Gazzara; her grandchildren, Kendall (Steve), J. R. (Nicole), Renee (Mark), Kaitlyn (Dylan), Sean Patrick (Erin) and Colin (Laura); and her great grandchildren, Rhys, Carter, Ariana, Rosalia and Carmelo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
