He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Jacobs and Dorothy Jacobs. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Janiszewski (Phillip) and Tara Jacobs; his grandchildren, Phillip Janiszewski Jr. and Juliette Janiszewski; his sisters, Sherry Amendolia and Lisa Klassman; his nieces and nephews, John Amendolia (Janelle), Joseph Amendolia (Holly), Carter Klassman and Abby Klassman; and his great-nephews, Luke Amendolia and Cameron Amendolia. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
