She was predeceased by: her husband Luis Eduardo Salcedo; her son Luis Eduardo Salcedo II; her parents, Carmen Arteaga and Avelino Arteaga; and her siblings, Avelino Arteaga, Carmen "Guga" Arteaga, Camilo Arteaga and Norma DiPietro.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Karen Salcedo; her grandchildren, Courtney Salcedo (Carlos Rendon) and Luis "Eddie" Salcedo III (Jessica Williams); and her great grandchildren, Amelia and Nathaniel Salcedo. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
