We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Regina M. Butterer of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey. As we bid Regina farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Regina is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Howarth and Walter Howarth. She is survived by: her husband Edward E. Butterer, Jr.; her children, Timothy Robert Butterer, Lynn Regina Butterer and Anne Elizabeth Rosenberg (Edan); her grandsons, Charles Walter and Benjamin Tate Rosenberg; and her siblings, James E. Howarth (Janet) and Mary Ellen Crocker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (343 S Broad St, Trenton, NJ 08608).
