She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolaus Mayer and Anna Mayer (Opperman); her husband Joseph A. Vas; her son Victor Vas; and her siblings, Rose Kernast (Peter) and Nicholas J. Mayer (Sally Ann).
She is survived by: her son Joseph; her daughters-in-law, Marlene Vas and Michelle Vas Triglia; her sister Anna Hahn; her cousin Eva Martini; and her nieces and nephews, Dorothy Scranton, Sally Ann Corbin (Chris), Nick Mayer Jr., Ron Kernast and Peter Kernast.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (626 S Olden Ave, Trenton, NJ 08629). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Colonial Memorial Park (3039 S Broad St, Trenton, NJ 08610).
