Kagel (McCauley); his children, Louis E., III (Laura Kagel), Joyce (Mark Anthony), Thomas Kagel (Nancy Kagel), Joseph (Pamela Kagel) and Susan (Thomas Sheridan); his grandchildren, Amanda (Alex), Caitlin (Corey), Nicholas, Mark II, Victoria (Hieu), Stephanie, Jamye (Owen), Joseph Jr., Ashley (Hugo), Christina (Alex) and Danielle (Lewis); his great grandchildren, Liam, Adelina, Alessandra and Jack; his friend Edwin MacNicholl; and also Lisa Kagel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
