He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine S. Newton; his sister Virginia Horning; his brother-in-law Joseph Horning; his brother William Newton Jr.; and his brother-in-law Robert Liberman.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey, Barbara Newton, Sharyn Newton (Ricky Carnevale), Kendra and John Martin; his grandchildren, Claire LeCroy (Blake), Cameron Newton, Shane Martin and Mackenzie Martin; his sister Nancy Liberman; and his sister-in-law Patricia Newton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
