With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John G Hanusi of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in Trenton, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on March 5, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Hanusi and Helen Hanusi. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara McNeill (Gordon), Christine Granaldi (Daniel Joseph, III) and Michele Toscano (John); his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Megan, Daniel IV, Amanda and Joshua; his close friend Barbara Raba; his former wives, Dorothy Meyers and Barbara Hanusi; and his cousin Jayne Karney.

“John was my neighbor, my best man in our wedding, and my partner on the Trenton Police Department. l originally was his paperboy delivering him the Trenton Times Newspaper and later joined him on TPD. When he retired as a Police Lieutenant, I was promoted to Lieutenant to replace him. I will always remember him as being a very remarkable person who loved his children very much. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Our sincere condolences to his family. Rich & Suzanne Groth”
