With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irene Foy of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in Trenton, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Irene left this world on March 19, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kandrac and Agnes Kandrac; her husband Robert M. Foy; her son Robert Foy; and her siblings, Robert, George, Francis, John, Rev. Marcian Joseph O. F. M., Aloysius, Andrew Kandrac, Kathryn Brownell, Agnes Taylor and Margaret Csira.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Hafitz (Jered Robert), Trina Dattolo and Gary Foy (Janetta); her daughter-in-law Laura Foy; her sister Barbara King; her grandchildren, Aaron Hafitz (Hannah), Eli Hafitz (Lindsey), Christine Sides (Sean), Allison Fitzgerald (Ryan), Leah Demarest (William), Patrick Foy, Daniel Foy, Robert Matthew Foy, Shannon Foy (Ronny Cox) and Gianna Dattolo; her great grandchildren, Logan, Luke Hafitz and Audrey Fitzgerald; and her close friend Bettyann Adamczyk. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church (3816 E State St, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619).
