He was predeceased by: his parents, Domey Gallant and Catherine Gallant (Bambrick); his former wife Marion Gallant (Morreale); his siblings, Robert Gallant and Monica Piffath; and his cousin Pat Amman.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Gallant (Breece); his siblings, Jack Gallant and Beverly Hasili; his children, Ernest Gallant Jr. (Elizabeth) of Phillipsburg, NJ, Cindy Lee Taylor (Michael) of Carrollton, TX, Kathleen Gallant (John Baker) of New Castle, DE and Michael Gallant (Claudia) of Surf City, NC; his stepchildren, Donald Breece (Donna) and Cheryl Helsel (Ray); and his grandchildren, Emily Gallant, Eric Gallant, Noella Rogers (Taylor) and Autumn Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (1282 Yardville Allentown Rd, Allentown, NJ 08501).
