He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Ferrante and Maria Tanzillo Bonelli (Ferrante). He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Ecker and Maryann Hurttgam (Joel); his son-in-law George Ecker; his grandson Justin Ecker (Suzanne); his great grandchildren, Kevin and Andrew Ecker; his siblings, Benedetto Ferrante and Mary Malkin; and his nephew Jack Malkin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
