She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Damiano and Tommasina Coppola Damiano; her husband Warren F. Cooper; her daughter Marie Frascella; her siblings, Raymond Damiano, Rudolph Damiano, Anthony Damiano, Salvatore Damiano, Vincent A. "Jim" Damiano, Catherine Damiano, Mary Miceli and Constance Caltagirone; and her friend Gene B. Hartnett.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Diaczenko (Nikolai) and Joseph Gaskill (Angela); her grandchildren, Lawrence Frascella (Asia Trang), Nick Diaczenko (Susan), Alex Diaczenko (Amanda), Jennifer Scannell, Tracy Valdez Piccone, Joseph Gaskill III and Aleiah Gaskill; and her siblings, Joseph Damiano, Armand Damiano, Thomas Damiano (Eileen) and Ann Reese.
