He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gorman Rick and John J. Rick Sr.; his mother-in-law Helen "Nana" Reeves; and his brother-in-law John Rugarber. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Reeves Rick; his daughter Erin; his son-in-law David Shea of Cranbury; his great grandchild Grace Shea of Bordentown; his granddaughter Meghan Shea of Alexandria, VA; his son John III; his daughter-in-law Sheila Rick of Dunellen; his grandchildren, Tracy Kasper and Kelli Petroni; his sisters, Marianne Rugarber of Hamilton and Karen; and his brother-in-law Pat McManimon of Ewing. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
