He was predeceased by: his father Judge Godfrey W. Schroth II; his wife Marilyn Christman Schroth; his son Gregory P. Schroth; his mother Marie Sawyer Schroth; and his siblings, Godfrey W. Schroth III, Irene Wolfe, Helen Hughes and Marie Dougherty.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Cheesman (Robert), Linda Breece (Cliff), Eileen McFadden (Denny), Kenneth Schroth and Jennifer Tusche (Kenneth); and his granddaughters, Nicole and Jessica.
