He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lammerding and Margaret Lammerding; his wife Rita; his siblings, Jude (Jane Lammerding), Richard (Jean Lammerding), Ann (Bill Scavuzzo), Mary (John Reuter) and Jane Rau; his niece Amy Lammerding; and his nephews, Mark and Eric Lammerding.

He is survived by: his children, Matthew, Joann (Jake Armstrong), Cindy Lammerding, Maryann Jannotti and Ann Marie Lammerding; his grandchildren, Kyle (Brittany Lammerding), Briann Lammerding, Nikole (Steve Cabrey) and Greg (Taylor Armstrong); his sister Grace Henkel; his siblings-in-law, Mary DeWolfe and Wilbur Rau; and his son-in-law Richard Jannotti. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and very dear close friends.

Due to the pandemic, funeral and burial were private.
