He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Galatro and Margaret Galatro; his sister Inez; his brother-in-law Dean LeCornu; his wife Barbara Galatro (Hackworth); his children, Karen Kontrath, Michele Galatro Dougherty and Dan Galatro, Jr. (Chris); his grandchildren, Elyse, Douglas, Joseph (Daniella), Emily Kontrath and Tyler Galatro (Jessica); and his sister Rose Helbling (Richard).
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Michael (Phyllis), Keith (Kerry), Belinda (Richard), Scott (Kim) and Renee (Anthony); and his aunt Gloria Quici. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece.
