He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ratzer and Veronica Ratzer (Ryan); and his children, John Ratzer, Jr. and Mary Ratzer. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ratzer (Fay); his children, Robyn Sealey of Hamburg, James Ratzer (Charlene Mure) of Ogdensburg, Thomas Ratzer of Hamburg and Ryan Ratzer (Antoinette) of Wantage; his grandchildren, Aaron Sealey, Ashley, Ava, Adyson McCurdie and John Ratzer; his great grandchildren, Nehemiah Sealey and Jordan John Sanders; and his sister Marilyn Harding. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
