He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGivney and Margaret McGivney (Galligan); and his siblings, Peter, James and Teresa.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa McGivney (Sherbinski); his children, Chuck, Randi McGivney (Pollack), Larry McGivney (La Nguyen) and Mike (Debi McGivney); his granddaughter Terri; his son Matt Skelton; and his grandchildren, Lauren Armenia (Iggy Armenia), Colin (Sydney McGivney), Benjamin Skelton, Sophia Skelton, Liam Skelton and Madeleine McGivney (Madison McGivney).
