It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Faber (Haledon, New Jersey), who passed away on December 28, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob; her stepbrother Aris Plaatsman; and her daughter-in-law Jacalynn Faber (Lynn). She is survived by: her children, Grace Vermeulen (Jon) of Haledon and Jacob G. Faber (Rosalinda); her grandchildren, Ligen Vermeulen (Deanne Somers) of Sparta, Gavin Vermeulen (Melissa Miley) of Kentucky, Kendra Macaluso (Caldwell), Jackie O'Brien (Tim) of Hawthorne and Darlene Murphy (Robert) of Haledon; her great grandchildren, Shelby Vermeulen, Jacob Macaluso, Kyle, Joshua and Zachary Gillespie; her sister-in-law Julia Mae Martin (Ray); and her wife Jackie of Florida. She is also survived by animals and had horses, dogs, cats, and pet mice; she cared for any creature her children.
