He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Coscia and Marianna Cardillo; and his siblings, Marianina Colella (late Aurelio), Domenico Coscia (Carmela) and Ciriaco Coscia (Tina).
He is survived by: his wife Antonietta Coscia; his children, John Coscia (Anna) of North Haledon, Ann Maria Casper (Kevin) of Wayne, Pamela McCauley (Scott) of Hillsborough and Giovanni Coscia; his grandchildren, James Schmidt (Catherine), Gianna Coscia, Carmine Coscia, Ian McCauley, Alex Casper, Nicholas McCauley and Amanda McCauley; his great grandchild Westyn Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Angelo Galluccio (Marilyn). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Paul's R. C Church (286 Haledon Ave, Prospect Park, NJ 07508). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (58 McLean Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07513).
