He is survived by: his spouse Marion DeFabio; his children, Lynne Pengitore (Ken) of Haledon and Gail Dragone (Frank) of Wayne; his siblings, Lillian Hunziker and Jane Lezott; and his grandchildren, Todd Pengitore, Ashley Slagle, Craig Pengitore, Scott Pengitore, Derek Pengitore, Kelsey Pengitore, Anthony Dragone and Brad Dragone.
