He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Fitzpatrick and Mary Fitzpatrick (Rowley); his children, Patricia Fitzpatrick and Joseph Fitzpatrick; and his siblings, Daniel Fitzpatrick, Mary Fitzpatrick Bauer, Helen Fitzpatrick McCauley, Michael Fitzpatrick, John Fitzpatrick, Margaret Fitzpatrick Powers and Thomas Fitzpatrick.

He is survived by : his wife Rosalie Fitzpatrick; his children, Sharon Fitzpatrick, Michael Fitzpatrick, Kevin Fitzpatrick (Lorraine) and Brian Fitzpatrick (Mary Ellen); his grandchildren, Ryan Joseph Fitzpatrick (Jaclyn), Matthew Brian Fitzpatrick (Anna), Megan Mary Fitzpatrick and Daniel Patrick Fitzpatrick; his great grandchildren, Keira Anne Fitzpatrick and Riley Saoirse Fitzpatrick; and his brother-in-law Joseph A. Payne (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.
