He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eleanor Foulke Martindale (Scattergood) and Dr. Joseph Scattergood, Jr.; his wife Jane Scattergood; his children, Joseph Scattergood (Terry) of Chester, NH and Deborah Clough (David) of Gilford, NH; his grandchildren, Hannah Schuler (Nikhon) of Swampscott, MA, Brian Clough (Jessica) of Cedar Grove, NJ and Quinn Scattergood of Chester, NH; and his great grandchild Owen Lavoie.
