He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret Kernan and Eugene Kernan; his wife Catherine Kernan (Daniels); his children, Megan Hunold (Philipp), Siobhan Carrera (Jonathan), Francis X. Kernan, Jr. (Krista), Eugene Kernan (Jill) and Nora Poulides (Gabriel); his grandchildren, Zoey Poulides, Lukas Hunold, Elle Hunold, Brayden Kernan, Jack Kernan, Benjamin Kernan, Genevieve Carrera, Constantine Poulides, Cora Carrera, Daniel Kernan, Alexandria Poulides and Theodore Poulides; his sister Brigid Kernan; his siblings-in-law, Brenda Kernan and William Fynes; and his sibling Msgr.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donation's in Fran's name may be made to the Salvation Army or the Maryknoll Missionaries.
