She was predeceased by: her husband Robert R. Nocella; her parents, Isaac Wheeldon and Madeline Wheeldon; and her siblings, Madeline Kaschner (Daniel), Lillie Dipaolo (Aurelio), Herbert Wheeldon, Jane Anderson (William), Barbara Myers (Thomas) and Laura Flacco (Joseph).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Carney (Michael McPherson), Sharen Nocella, Karen Nocella and Stephen Nocella (Donna Parr); her grandchildren, Susan Carlin, Stephanie Marques Shannon Romero (Philip), Anthony Viola, Dakota, Brandon Parr, Nicholas, Joseph Viola, Brian and Staci Carney; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Michaelah, Jewel, Hazel and Dylan; and her siblings, Ernest Wheeldon (Roberta), John Wheeldon (Linda Schreiner), Carol Tharp (Homer) and Karen Wheeldon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, her children are requesting charitable donations be made payable to the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team 'WWAST USA Patriots Kids Camp' in her memory (http://www.usawwast.org).
