He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nieman and Emily Gillen Nieman; and his wife Mae Nieman. He is survived by: his children, William S. Nieman, Pamela Curtin and Brian Nieman; and his children-in-law, Mary Nieman, Daniel Curtin and Frieda Nieman. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
