She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Ellis and Alice Ellis (Murphy); her sister Maryellen Spilatro; and her sister-in-law Isabelle Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Antonio Staffiero; her daughters, Christie Stachnick (Jim) and Meredith Thies (Scott); her siblings, Walter Ellis (Janet), Kevin Ellis and Jane Foerster (Gary); and her grandchildren, Jamie Stachnick, Josh Thies and Devon Thies. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (905 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 in memory of Judy.
