She was predeceased by: her parents, David Samaroo and Hanna Samaroo; her husband Cecil Sookhoo; and her son Charles Sookhoo. She is survived by: her children, Norman (Nan Sookhoo), Richard (Pauline Sookhoo), Annie (Leonard Bridgmohan), Eunice (Lloyd Satnarine) and Rayman (Laleeta Sookhom); and her daughter-in-law Leila Sookhoo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
