He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Sr. Vinella. He is survived by: his mother Janice H. Vinella (Radzikowski); his wife Marianne; his stepsons, Brendan N. Jarvis (Jessi) and Nicholas E. Jarvis; his stepgrandparent Finn; his siblings, Susan Valerian (Jay) and Michael Vinella (Sherri); his nephew Christopher Vinella; his nieces, Breanna, Lauren Vinella, Olivia and Julia Valerian; and his siblings-in-law, Robert F. Howe (Laura), Barbara Borretsky (Cy) and Joan Kibbler (John).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Newbaker Funeral Home (200 NJ-94, Columbia, NJ 07832). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (213 Main St, Hackettstown, NJ 07825). An entombment was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Newton Cemetery (19 Lawnwood Ave, Newton, NJ 07860).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jerry's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital or Cycle for Survival, https://www.cycleforsurvival.org, which Jerry participated in for many years.
