He is survived by: his children, Brian Lee and Jennifer Knittel (Jonathan); his stepchildren, Karen Staada (Thomas Staada) and Joseph Giacomini (Rebecca Giacomini); his grandson Jonathan S Knittel; his stepgrandchildren, Nicholas Staada, Natalie Staada and Thomas Spencer; and his siblings, Lorraine Hoskins (Lee) and James D Lee. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
