She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Mowrey and Harry Mowrey; her son William Reed; and her brothers, Jacob Mowrey, Edward Mowery and Richard Conklin.
She is survived by: her husband Robert McGunnigle; her sons, Donald Reed Jr., Ronald Reed (Annmarie) and Christopher McGunnigle; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Denna, Donald III, Jahayra, Angela, Ronald Jr. and McKenzie.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Betty Jane's name to the North Shore Animal League America.
