She was predeceased by: her father Michael Niechwiadowicz; her husband William Garlick; and her siblings, Jean Niechwiadowicz, Mary Baksza, Helen Roosevelt, Catherine Magelnicki, Stella Chowanski, Michael Rusakowsky, Anthony Russack and John Russack.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Suker (Robert) and Kelli Hourihan (John); and her grandchildren, Jacqueline Suker, Stephanie Suker, Dylan Hourihan and Nicolette Hourihan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
