It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Needhammer (Hackettstown, New Jersey), who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Anita; her husband Fred Needhammer of Brooklyn, NY; her sister Jean DiCosola; her sisters-in-law, Ella Raftery and Muriel Needhammer; and her daughter-in-law Manuela Needhammer.

She is survived by: her children, Andrew of Flagstaff, AZ, Laura of Totowa, NJ, Carol (James) of Sparta, NJ and Tom (Debby) of Great Meadows, NJ; and her grandchildren, Rebecca of Albuquerque, NM, Julia of Flagstaff, AZ, Lily of Philadelphia, PA, Mark of Great Meadows, NJ, Ruby and Chloe of Sparta, NJ..

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton NJ 07860.

She was my mother’s favorite cousin, and my beloved Godmother. She never forgot me, even after 70 years, and I will never forget her.
