Alfred E. Vetrone Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred E. Vetrone (Hackettstown, New Jersey), who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Alfred E. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alfred E. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa; his parents, Ralph Vetrone and Lena Vetrone; and his brother Paul Vetrone. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Vetrone, Josephine DeRosa (Al) and Alice Layne (Peter); and his grandchildren, Krystina (Tim), Elyse (Cole) and Jeffry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (905 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840).
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Al's memory may be made to the New Jersey Firemen's Home at 565 Lathrop Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 (more info can be found at NJFH.org) or to a reputable dog or horse rescue of your choosing.
