He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell James Taylor and Mary Maxine Gray Taylor; and his son Robert James Taylor, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Johnson of Passaic; his sister Velma Taylor Porcher; his uncle William Gray (Carolyn); his aunt Ethel Moses; and his sisters, Tamara Beamer, Denise Dixon, Diana Williams and Lisa Jones.
