She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ismail Melendez and Teresa Escobar; her husband Luis E. Sanjurjo; her children, Isaac, Chantell, Neil and Crystalina; her grandchildren, I'Jae, Isaac, Heaven, Santana, Khamaree, Noah and Ayla; and her siblings, Robert, Nelson, Elizabeth, Margaret and Maria. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
