He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Eckert and Joseph Eckert. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Teta; his children, Maricia Phillips (Ryan), Francis Eckert, Stephen Eckert (Sabrena) and Derek Eckert (Araceli); his siblings, Christine Sanso (Michael), Geraldine Patire (Richard), Laura Eckert, Jody Bartlett (Edward) and Joseph Eckert (Suzanne); and his grandchildren, John Anthony Phillips and Rylee Evelyn Phillips.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. (4650 N Federal Hwy, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064).
