He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Goncalves Teixeira and Ricardina of Oliveira; and his siblings, Maria of Conceicao, Adelino and Teresa.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jose and Margarida; his wife Maria Margarida Henriques Teixeira; his children, Sara Rodrigues (Luis) and Fernando M. Teixeira; and his grandchildren, Emily, Emma Rodrigues, Madison and Alyssa Teixeira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
