In loving memory of Curvey Simmons (Hackensack, New Jersey), born in Savannah, Georgia, who departed this world on April 9, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Brantley Simmons and Bly Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Mullins-Simmons of Edgewater, NJ; his children, Kawanna Simmons (Patrick) of Teaneck, NJ, Kimani Simmons (Ciarra) of Teaneck, NJ, Dwayne Lay (Nina) of Dallas, Georgia, Kim Casey of Houston and Leroy Casey of Hollywood, California; his siblings, Brantley Simmons of Lincoln Park, NJ, Beverly Wade of Douglasville and Keisha Parham (Bronx); his grandchildren, Dequan Simmons (Chyna), Nia Lay, Sekai Roberts, Saniya Roberts, Malachi Simmons, Myel Simmons, Lanee Hunter and Bronx Casey; and his great grandchildren, Deyna Simmons and Dice Simmons. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (260 Central Ave, Hackensack, NJ 07601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the George Washington Cemetery Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
